My sound, my Journey
My Sound, My Journey is a musical performance composed and performed by Wael Sami Elkholy.
Between songs and compositions, Elkholy shares stories from his life — moments from his path from Dubai and Cairo to Switzerland, reflections on migration, and his view of today’s world.
In the performance, he sets poems by renowned Swiss authors Raphael Urweider and Pedro Lenz to music, intertwining them with songs and melodies from the Arab world. The result is a personal yet universal narrative — a dialogue between cultures, languages, and memories, carried by Elkholy’s distinctive sound.
The performance can be presented in English, German, or Arabic, depending on the audience and context.
